• Question: Will we ever recreate a black hole?

      Probably, and maybe we even already have in the LHC! But a black hole which is very small doesn’t have any more gravitational pull than a different very small thing (you aren’t gravitationally attracted to a mouse for example). If they are very small and don’t absorb anything then a theory by Stephen Hawking says that they evaporate and disappear (we haven’t seen this yet so can’t tell if it is true).

      As Jos says, in theory we already can provided it’s small. If we want to keep everything as it is we should probably keep it that way!
