Eventually when the sun dies and the earth stops having the right conditions the water will either freeze or evaporate away into space, but we’ll be long gone by then. Elements just get moved round the system and the hydrogen and oxygen will eventually end up on another planet somewhere.

However, we should be being careful with the resources we have. It takes time for the natural system to transport water and for the aquifers to recharge after a drought. If we’re not careful the water won’t be in the places where we need it most to grow crops.

The average person in America uses nearly 3 time what the average British person uses, and 30-40 times the average person somewhere like Ethiopia. I doubt we really need to use quite as much as we do.

      Hi
There are few chance that water will run out.
However drinkable water is something to worry about. If we keep on polluting our ground water there will be less and less available water. Unfortunately everybody is not equal in this, and drier countries have less rain and therefore less renewed water for their ground water so some people are already talking about water war, for example in Middle East…
Britain, in reverse is not dry and I think we have more time before this happen. However we do consume a lot more water that other dry country that are used to it.

Everything on this earth is part of a delicate cycle and as long as we preserve it, it won’t run out. However as Kate as said, it is where the water is that is important, and how that governs our climate. The water we use is very much different to that of the total contents on the planet, and I think the usable water is something that we need to carefully monitor
