Question: What type of experiments do you collect data on? As an aside, what is your favourite video game?

I do lot’s of different experiments, when I am out at a synchrotron I do x-ray diffraction, but I also travel to other large scale facilities where I do neutron scattering. At the university I do lots of microscopy taking pictures of the surfaces of my samples. Of course, I have to make all these samples to, so depending on what I’m looking at I could be doing some melt spinning, of sputtering, or using a diamond saw to slice up some teeth.
My favourite game series is metal gear solid, but at the moment I’m playing evil with and enjoying it
