      The smallest possible magnets are actually only a few atoms big! you can even see them being magnetic with about 10 atoms of cobalt or iron. The biggest magnets are actually the stars! They have a magnetic field just like the Earth does. The biggest man made ones are in some particle physics experiments and are about the size of a big house
