• Question: What is an example of a superconductor?

      There are lots of superconductors actually but they only work at very low temperatures, aluminium, vanadium, niobium and mercury are some of the simpler ones which I can think of but people are researching ones which work at higher temperatures like yttrium barium copper oxide (which works at about 80 K instead of 2 K).
