• Question: What countries in Europe did you visit?

      I have worked on (or visited on holiday) several active volcanoes in Italy (Etna, Vesuvius, Stromboli, Vulcano, Panteleria) and lots of dormant or extinct volcanoes in the UK and France. I visit Switzerland, France and the UK (and possibly Italy too ion the next year) to run experiments, and then to lots of different Universities for conference and meetings to discuss the science. Oh, and of course I am now living in Germany.
