• Question: What came first, the chicken or the egg?

      Evolution isn’t that one animal gives birth to a completely different animal, its a more gradual process. So on that there would have been something that was not quite a chicken, that laid an egg which inside contained something we would say is definitely a chicken.
      So, The egg came first.

      Well, single celled organisms first existied about 3.5 Billion years ago….. then they evolved into organsisms we could class as “animals” by about 650 million years ago….. then evoltuion continued through several hiccups (mass extintion events) until it brought us the dinosaurs…. and we currently think birds evolved from them. So the answer is…… a velocaraptor.

      Chickens evolved from dinosaurs and dinosaurs laid eggs so I’m going to go for the egg
