Question: Jos, if you consider yourself a fool then why should we vote for you and why are you a scientist.

I take my work as a scientist very seriously and always do whatever I can to make my work the best it can be. However, nobody can be serious all of the time (it gets boring and tiresome), so sometimes I like to juggle, or walk on slacklines (a bit like tightropes), or climb trees and generally do fun things. Many of my friends are serious professionals as well (engineers, teachers, army officers), but I would still call them fools too, it’s not a bad thing.
