• Question: Is it possible for someone - or something - to travel through a black hole and still be intact?

      The answer to this is, maybe. Black holes have such strong gravity that if your feet are closer to it than your head then they will be pulled closer faster and you would get pulled apart before you even got near the edge! However, some scientists have thought about this and found a few ways it might be possible to go through a black hole, it has to be very large and old and lots of other very specific thing have to happen to survive it. BUT once you are in a black hole, if you get there and find out that wormholes don’t exist (what some people think could be in the centre of some black holes), then you would never be able to escape it.
