  Good question. I would use the 500 pounds to get some of you to come and see one of my experiments in action, and to build some laboratory experiments I can do with you in your classroom, so although it wouldn’t help my research directly, it would help make more students aware of geology and therefore more likely to study it at university. That means I get to teach more students, and get more of you working in science too!
