I am a PhD student straight from University. I have been a waiter for a part time job but there was far too much walking around for my liking.

I had a few different jobs when I was at university, but once I graduated I’ve always worked in science

I’ve always worked in science since I got a “proper” job, but I worked in a bookshop at weekends and in the university holidays, and worked at a plant nursery making hanging baskets and christmas wreaths and selling crhsitmas trees. I also spent one summer as a sectretary for a financial adviser.

      Hello
I think I did some small jobs where science is not needed. I worked for a small time in a Sawmill in Scotland, I think that was one of the best working experience I had!
I also did a lot of charity things, I was involved in the sustainable development club in my university, which was quite fun too, we organized conferences, gave some breakfasts to people cycling to university…
I was volunteer in a charity where we would give food and spend some time with homeless in the city where I was studying, back in France.
