• Question: What are goosebumps and can you get them on your face?

      Goosebumps are a response to cold or fear. When birds are cold they fluff up their feathers and you pets fluff up their coats to make them selves look bigger and scarier. In evolutionary terms it’s the same thing: we may have gone bald and lost the hair, but the response that makes us try and unsuate ourselves still kicks in.
